Interact Club

Interact Club To mark the Interact week and Swach Bharat Abhiyan Interactors of Rotary Public School, Gurgaon distributed handwash, gloves, bathing, washing soap, toothbrush, paste and sweets to all the Housekeeping staff of the school. The students apprised them with tips on health and hygiene .The staff appreciated the efforts put in by Interactors.

Since its earliest days, rotary has been committed to helping children in need. In 1960, the organisation took a new approach to youth’s service. Recognising the untapped potential of young men and women, R.I president Harold T. Thomas urged Rotary Clubs around the word to find ways to encourage service among youth, foster their active interest in the community and offer opportunities for them to develop as leaders.
Two years later 23 students at Melbourne High School in Melbourne, Florida, U.S.A came together to form the first interact club. Now Rotarians were not just helping youth but empowering them to serve locally and internationally with the Rotary Club sponsor.
Interact clubs are self-supporting and self-governing and they receive guidance from a local sponsor-Rotary Club.
